Camping Pod

Our wooden pod sleeps four and offers a touch of luxury along with all the benefits of time spent in nature.

Our site has 10 pitches for tents or trailer tents, tip top facilities, and an amazing surrounding landscape for you to explore.

Our five caravan pitches offer tip top facilities. They’re the perfect spot for quick stops or longer holidays.

One site, two national parks nearby

The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks are right on our doorstep.

Explore two stunning landscapes packed with walks, cycle routes, attractions, and deli-cious local food and drink. From the high peaks to lakeside trails, there’s a breath-taking view around every corner.

One site, acres of farm and woodland

Providing the site’s picturesque setting, Low Sizergh Farm is an organic working farm.

341 acres in total, it’s home to a cross bred dairy herd of Holsteins, Swedish Reds and Montbeliardes – as well as a flock of 200 sheep. We hope you enjoy a unique perspective of life on the farm.

Spacious, clean and contemporary facilities

Everything you need for your stay…and a little bit more besides. The site has been developed with guests in mind. From the purpose-built shower block to the heated drying facility and pot wash, the award-winning farm shop and café to the free farm trail, it’s all here to make your stay one to remember.

Follow the farm trail: a mile and three quarters of pond, field and woodland loveliness to explore.

Start the day with a farmer’s breakfast in the café. Overalls and wellies not required, just a hearty appetite.

The herd’s raw milk is dispensed from a vending machine just yards from the milking par-lour.

Look out for the mini milk tanker collecting our organic milk to make into Windermere ice cream, which is also available from the Shed and in the farm shop.

Watch the cows being milked from 3.30pm daily. A scratch behind the ears over the par-lour’s half door is welcome.

Produce from the farm includes honey, three cheeses and ice cream made with our milk, raw milk, and fruit from the orchard.
